This policy explains what personal information Mannats Boutique (“Mannats”, “we”) collects when you use mannats.com or shop with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Account details – your name, email address and password (stored only in scrambled, one-way form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier – never your Google password.
- Order details – the name, phone number, delivery address, city and PIN code you enter at checkout, the pieces you order, sizes and any notes.
- Payment details – online payments are handled by our payment partner Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure page and are never stored by us; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
- Messages – what you send us through the contact form, email, WhatsApp or Instagram.
- Newsletter – your email address, if you choose to join our list.
- Notifications – if you allow order or offer notifications, your browser gives us a notification address for that device.
- Bag and wishlist – a random identifier saved in your browser so your bag and wishlist are remembered between visits.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data.
Why we use it
- To process, stitch, deliver and support your orders, including invoices and GST records.
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates, password-reset links and replies to your questions.
- To remind you about pieces left in your bag and to send offers – only if you have not opted out.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
Only with the services needed to run the shop, and only for that purpose: courier partners (to deliver your order), Razorpay (to take payments), our email and notification providers (to send messages), Google (if you choose Google sign-in) and our hosting provider. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Account details are kept while your account is active. Newsletter and notification details are removed as soon as you unsubscribe or switch notifications off.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent for marketing at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe option, and notifications can be switched off in your browser or in My Account. To make a request, write to us at the address below; we reply within 30 days.
Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored in scrambled form, sign-ins expire after 30 days, and access to customer information is limited to our team.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. Anyone under 18 should shop with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
